Beautiful tired mamma
I see you. Underneath the smile you’re wearing I see you. Holding it all together the best that you can I see you. Questioning and doubting yourself sometimes while plowing forward all the time I see you. Counting to ten, counting your blessings, counting the minutes until bed time I see you. Wondering how it seems some days will never end and then suddenly years have flown by I see you. Sleep deprived and yet somehow managing to get all the kids to all the places, wipe all the boo boos and all the faces I see you. Holding it all together on the outside when inside you are crumbling I see you. Letting go and allowing yourself to crumble on the outside I see you. I see you at the playground. I see you at the grocery store. I see you in the line at the post office silently begging time to speed up. I see you in the car pool line with a glazed look over your face. I see you gazing at the child you would do anything in the world for silently begging time to slow down. I see you and I am in awe of you. I am connected to you. I see you and you are amazing. We are amazing. You are exactly who your children need and you are exactly enough. You are loved. And you are seen.
